Summer Nights LIVE begins Friday, June 4

The Belgium Chamber of Commerce will again hold Belgium Summer Nights LIVE on Friday, June 4, at Community Park.

Music will be provided by the Honeygoats bluegrass band of Sheboygan from 6 to 9 p.m.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Food sales benefit Mel’s Charities and drink sales benefit the Chamber.

Children may play kickball or on the playground. Cornhole and a night market are offered for adults.

Summer Nights LIVE will also be held July 16 and Aug. 28 in conjunction with the American Legion Melvin Wester Post 412 corn roast.

Chamber’s Brew and Chew is sold out

Those who didn’t buy their Brew and Chew tickets early can plan to attend next year’s event.

This year’s annual Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce fundraiser, to be held at Buechler Farms on Saturday, is sold out, Chamber Executive Director Tara Williams told the Belgium Village Board on Monday.

In other community news, Williams said a committee is being formed to develop ideas on how to celebrate Belgium’s October 2022 centennial.

Sun shines on Easter egg hunt

Chamber to host Easter egg hunt

The Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce is holding an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 3.

Children 10 and younger are invited to Heritage Park at 11 a.m. for the hunt. Candy and prizes are inside the eggs. People are asked to bring their own baskets.

The Easter Bunny will be on hand and willing to pose for photos.

Divine Savior Christian School in Fredonia will provide make-and-take crafts for children to bring home.

The park’s bathrooms are winterized and people are asked to plan accordingly.
