E. Arlene Prochaska

Mrs. Arlene Prochaska of the Town of Saukville passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022, at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. She was 81 years old.
Born Edna Arlene Templeman, she was one of 13 children born to Elmer and Marie Cline Templeman.
Arlene attended local schools and graduated from Port Washington High School, a proud member of the Class of 1958.
Later that summer, she was united in marriage with her high school sweetheart, Frank J. Prochaska, in a ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington on Aug. 23, 1958.
The couple settled in Port Washington and later moved to the Town of Saukville. They were blessed with four children, John, Robert, Steven and Rhonda.
Frank preceded her in death in 2009.
Mrs. Prochaska worked as a waitress at the Port Hotel and later at the Grafton Hotel for more than 20 years.
She and Frank wintered in Florida for 12 years, staying primarily in the Zephyr Hills area.
A lifelong Methodist, Mrs. Prochaska was a former member of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church.
Coming from a musical family, Arlene loved to sing and play the guitar. She occasionally sang at a local piano bar and looked forward to “jams” with her friends where they would dance and play for hours.
She also enjoyed playing card games, especially a good game of sheepshead.
The last few years, Arlene loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children John (Lori) Prochaska of Saukville, Robert (Karen) Prochaska of Newton, Steven (friend Edna) Prochaska and Rhonda (Ron) Dickson, both of Saukville; 15 grandchildren, Craig, Keith, Sarah, David, Rachel, Kayla, Elizabeth, Kevin, Kelly, Kyle, Brett, Demetra, Salena, Sabrina and Tabitha; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She is further survived by fiance Frank Krulicki; brothers Wilbert (Sue) Templeman, Larry (friend Jo Ellen) Templeman and Herbert (friend Linda) Templeman; sisters Wanda (Allan) Keller, Bonnie (George) Pachner and Christine (Phil) Buchman; sisters-in-law Carol (Spike) Heniadis, Lois (Roger) Galler and Barb Prochaska; brother-in-law Dennis Lastovich; numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, granddaughter Jessie, grandson Nicholas, parents Elmer and Marie Templeman, brothers Duane and Craig Templeman, sisters Eleanora (the late Warren) Roos, Pat (the late John) Larson, Linda Pannier and Sharon Lastovich, parents-in-law Frank R. and Susan Blong Prochaska and brothers-in-law James Van Ess and Paul Prochaska.
