American Legion post is ready to go bowling

Pros and beginners alike are invited to participate in the annual Rose Harms American Legion Post 355 bowling outing next weekend.

The tournament, hosted by the Sons of the American Legion, will be held Saturday, Feb. 5 at Circle B Recreation Center in the Town of Cedarburg. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. and bowling will begin at 11 a.m.

Registration is $20 per person, which includes three games of bowling and shoes.

Proceeds will be used to benefit Legion events.

 Teams of five will square off in a 9-pin tap tournament, a scoring format where knocking down nine pins counts as a strike.

An entry form, which can be found on the Rose Harms Legion Facebook page, must be submitted by Feb. 4 at Grafton Mobil, 1117 Washington St.

Bowlers are welcome to form their own teams or join others to form a group of five when they arrive.

A potluck will be held before the tournament begins and participants are asked to arrive early and bring something to share.

Raffle prizes will also be awarded throughout the day, and a 50/50 raffle will be held following the tournament.
