Loraine Jacoby

Loraine L. Jacoby, age 92, of Belgium, Wis., passed away peacefully at home Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021.

She was born in Random Lake on Jan. 2, 1929, the daughter of Harold and Mary Schladweiler Hass.

She moved to Belgium, started a family and worked with her husband for many years on their dairy farm.

With the children older, Loraine took a job as a clerk at the Belgium Post Office in 1974. She would later transfer to the Port Washington Post Office, retiring in 1992.

Wally preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 2004.

Loraine had been active in the former St. Mary’s Catholic Parish in Lake Church. She was a former Cedar Grove-Belgium School Board member and a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.
