E-cycle is Saturday at Belgium town dump

The annual E-cycle event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Belgium town dump, 1215 Jay Rd., on Saturday.

Residents of the village and town of Belgium may drop off items, such as monitors, TVs, microwaves, washers and dryers, for free. For a list of acceptable items, visit the town’s website at town.belgium.wi.us and click recycling.

The town and village are splitting the cost of the event, budgeted to be $6,000 but expected to cost less.

Town Chairman Tom Winker said he would like to consider holding the event every other year instead of annually.

In addition, Plus Group Wealth will hold a free paper shredding event from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at 680 Main St., Belgium.
