Kimberly Yellen

Kimberly Joy Yellen, 50, left us on Friday, April 9, 2021.  

She was born in Milwaukee to Mark and Barbara (Wuenne) Yellen on Sept. 17, 1970.

Kimberly is survived by her mother Barbara; her sister Elizabeth (Raymond) Koopman; her twin brother Mark (Donna) Yellen; nieces Madison (Colin Mueller) and Payton Yellen; aunt Beverly Sarauer; uncle Merle Wuenne (special friend Geri); and cousins Steve (Candi) Sarauer, Debbie (Dennis) Rohde, Dan (Nancy) Wuenne and Kristine Wuenne.

Kimberly graduated from Grafton High School in 1988 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she received her bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Kimberly enjoyed playing soccer in high school, traveling and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed hearing stories from her nieces.  

She had a wonderful sense of humor and her smile could light up a room. Kimberly cared deeply for her family and often put their needs ahead of her own.  

She also loved animals.

Kimberly will be forever missed and loved by those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father Mark, brother Christopher, grandmother Marian Wuenne, grandfather Frank Yellen, grandmother Delores Yellen and her uncle Kenneth Sarauer.

Per Kimberly’s request, private services will be held on a later date.

Memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society in Kimberly’s name.
