Luxembourg historian meets his fans

Belgium native Kevin Wester held a book signing for his latest work, “Lake Church, Wisconsin, A Pictorial History” this month at Lake Church Inn. The book features photos of every class from St. Mary’s Catholic School but one and tells the story of the development of Lake Church from its earliest settlers in the mid-1800s. Wester, who developed a passion for history when he was a child, worked on the 257-page book on and off for decades, using recordings of interviews from when he was in high school. The coronavirus, he said, gave him more time to finish the book since the economic shutdown slowed his two businesses, helping people obtain dual citizenship in Luxembourg and running annual tours to the country.
