Fire departments to hold recruitment night Sept. 29

The Fredonia Fire Department will host a joint recruitment night for the Belgium, Fredonia and Waubeka fire departments from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Fredonia Fire Station.

The three departments are seeking fire fighters, emergency medical responders, emergency medical technicians, reserve volunteers and teenagers ages 14 to 17 years old interested in joining the Explorer program.

A bridge course for nurses seeking to become EMTs is also available. 

The Fredonia Fire Station is located at 201 S. Milwaukee St.
