Divine Savior School to hold BBQ fundraiser Oct. 10

Divine Savior Catholic School will hold a BBQ Bonanza drive-through fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Fredonia school.

The menu will include barbecued pulled pork, barbecue baked chicken, ultimate loaded baked potatoes, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and desserts.

A raffle will also be held. Prizes are $1,500 for first place; $750 for second place; $500 for third place; and assorted gift baskets for fourth, fifth and sixth places. 

Raffle tickets are $10. Prize drawings will be held that day, but winners need not be present.

Pre-ordering food is encouraged, though orders may be placed the day of the event.

To obtain a menu,  pre-order food and purchase raffle tickets, visit the school office at 305 Fredonia Ave. Only cash and checks are accepted.

Tickets can also be purchased from any DSCS staff member or parent.

Advance tickets are available through Sept. 30. Every pre-ordered meal ticket will be eligible to win a prize basket valued at more than $50.

The event is a replacement of the school’s annual dinner and auction night, the  largest fundraiser of the year. The event was canceled this year due to concerns related to the Covid-19 virus.
