Village compost site open starting this week
Starting this week, the Village of Saukville compost site will be open from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
No brush, metal or appliances will be accepted, and no dumpsters will be available.
Social distancing guidelines should be observed. The site will be unmanned, but will be under video surveillance.
In addition, the village announced that curbside branch and brush collection will begin Monday, April 27.
Branches and brush must be curbside by 6:30 a.m. and will only be removed for disposal and not chipped.
