Man, woman injured in downtown weekend crash

Two people were transported to a hospital after they were involved in a two-car crash at Green Bay Avenue and Ulao Street in downtown Saukville on Friday, Feb. 21.

According to Saukville police, the crash occurred just after 8 a.m., shutting down morning traffic as it attempted to move through the area.

A 61-year-old woman and a 58 -year-old man were transported to Aurora Medical Center in Grafton with non-life-threatening injuries.  

A 36-year-old woman was treated and released at the scene.  

Besides Saukville police and fire personnel, Port Washington and Grafton EMS crews responded to the crash.

No further information was available and the investigation was ongoing, Saukville Police Chief Rob Meyer said early this week.
