Seascape with cattails and sailboats

A vast sea of Prussian blue fading to dark turquoise beneath a crisp horizon with cattails and flowering weeds in the foreground and sailboats in the distance made a classic seascape that might have been observed from an ocean overlook. Yet this was Lake Michigan in an artistic expression of its ever changing beauty. The image was captured by Dan Hefle of Port Washington from the bluff in the city’s Upper Lake Park.
