A Hollywood-inspired homecoming at Grafton High

Students and staff at Grafton High School are celebrating homecoming this week with a variety of activities. “Hollywood Premiere” is this year’s theme. Members of the homecoming court include (front row, from left) Kate Rosenberger (band), Elizabeth Snell (girls’ swimming) Elise Lueck (musical), Katie Schroeder (girls’ tennis), Julia Wille (girls’ cross country), Emma Wagner (girls’ volleyball) Kaitlynn Swenson (dance team), Cambryn Klaus (cheerleading), (back row, from left) Dominick Boon (band), Brandon Pegelow (boys’ soccer) Wilson Jones (musical), Hawk Heffner (football), Sam Peters (boys’ cross country), Ben Kell (football), Carter Day (boys’ soccer) and Brady Ward (football). Activities will continue Thursday with float judging and 7 p.m. parade along Washington Street to the football stadium, followed by a pep rally and powder-puff game. On Friday, there will be a rededication ceremony of upgraded high school facilities from 5 to 7 p.m. and the homecoming football game at 7 p.m. The homecoming dance will be from 8 to 11:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.
