Candy gatherers galore in costume

Belgium held trick or treat last Sunday. Above (from left) Gabe Gauger, Gavin Viesselmann, Landon Hadler and Gavin Safemaster picked from a bountiful array of snacks and goodies. Scarecrows in a row (top photo) greeted trick-or-treaters as they strolled down the sidewalk. In other Halloween news, Eerie Street Cemetery at 281 N. Middle Rd. is open from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, and Saturday, Oct. 31. This year the haunted house is collecting food for Ozaukee Food Alliance, men’s and women’s jeans, men’s, women’s and children’s winter coats, laundered bedding, bath towels and backpacks for adults for Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge, and cash donations for the Austin Ryan recovery fund.
