Plenty of trick-or-treating planned in Port
You can expect to see plenty of miniature Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers and assorted witches, ghosts and goblins roaming the streets of Port Washington on Saturday, Oct. 31.
Not only does the city have its official trick-or-treat hours from 4 to 7 p.m. that night, but there are plenty of other activities for families that day.
The city’s last outdoor farmers market will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with many vendors having sweets to share, and youngsters are invited to trick or treat at downtown stores from noon to 3 p.m.
Participating businesses will have a poster announcing trick or treat in their windows, and homeowners taking part in the evening activities are asked to have a front light on so youngsters know there are treats for the asking.
Costumed dogs will get a head start on the holiday during a 5 p.m. parade in downtown on Thursday, Oct. 29.
