Preparing for the holidays

The annual Country Fair sponsored by the St. Paul Lutheran Church Women’s Guild will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Grafton church. More than 30 vendors will sell their crafts, and there will be a bake sale featuring everything from pies and breads to holiday treats, including one-pound boxes of homemade Christmas cookies. Showing off a few of the items to be sold were (from left) Donna Gruetzmacher, Jan Koopman and Diane Pfaffenroth. The Guild will also host a ham lunch that includes a ham sandwich, German potato salad and homemade apple or pumpkin pie. The cost of lunch is $12.
