Supporting veterans and their families

The annual hike and bike for veterans sponsored by the Van Ells-Schanen, Warren Kane and Melvin Wester American Legion Posts and Auxiliaries in Pot Washington, Fredonia and Belgium, Legion Riders and Sons of the American Legion traveled from Port’s north side park-and-ride lot along the Ozaukee Interurban Trail to Kyote’s Bar and Grill in Belgium on Saturday, Sept. 5, raising money for Camp American Legion. Among the participants were (from left) Bill Hansen, Renee Schreiner, Kendel Feilen, Richard Uselding, Jim Schmidt, Patty Schuy, Diane Burkhalter, Jerry Keller, Jeanne Kasza and Carl Huenink.
