LETTER: It’s time for America to once again defeat a rapacious king
To Ozaukee Press:
In an act that will live forever in the annals of national moral and political depravity, Donald Trump is seeking $1.8 billion of our tax money to reimburse the Jan. 6 rioters for their abhorrent crimes committed directly against the American people.
These are the same formerly convicted and jailed misfits and miscreants who now only walk free because Donald Trump pardoned every one of them, including many who admittedly assaulted and caused the death of Capitol police.
At the same time, Trump is openly assembling a jackbooted personal army of masked Nazi cosplayers and is unleashing them to roam the streets of our American cities. Their marching orders? Intimidate and terrify anyone who questions or resists his insatiable appetite for racial and ethnic cleansing.
So far, the result has been chaos punctuated by acts of extreme violence that include cold blooded murders of citizens who refuse to be sidelined or silenced in the face of tyranny.
The declared mission of ICE is to deport undesirables and immigrants; its true purpose is much more sinister.
In fact, what we are actually witnessing is Donald Trump’s desperate attempt to assemble a brownshirt army of wilding street punks that he can personally direct to disrupt our elections beginning with the upcoming midterms and to be fully unleashed like another barbarian horde in 2028.
If I remember correctly, the British were still singing “God Save The King” when they surrendered to George Washington in 1781. Now, in 2026, it is once again time for all good Americans to rise up and come to the aid of our country by joining together in a resounding chorus of “No Kings!”
