Dennis George Storck

Dennis George Storck passed away peacefully at home in Celebration, Fla., on July 15, 2026, at the age of 87.

Dennis was born on Jan. 29, 1939, to the late Melvin and Theresa Storck in Port Washington, Wis.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Faye (nee Weiland); his children Deneane (John) Brady, Daniel (Rebecca) Storck and Faith (Robert) Ericksen; his grandchildren Elizabeth (Brian) Semrad, Kathryn (Heath) Guthrie, Elias (Ryann) Ericksen, Dennis Kraemer, Josiah Ericksen and Margaret Kraemer; and great-grandchildren Jaclyn, Brady, George, Ares and one on the way.

Dennis graduated from Port Washington High School in 1957 and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy. After returning home from the service, he raced stock cars with his friend and future brother-in-law Wayne (Joan) Houpt.

Dennis and Faye married and purchased a home on Milwaukee Street, where they began building their life and family together. Their home became the setting for many memorable gatherings, often ending with friends and family gathered in the wine cellar.

Dennis spent his entire career with Wisconsin Electric Co. In addition, Dennis and Faye owned and operated The Storck Club tavern in the late 1970s.

Following his retirement, they relocated to Hot Springs Village, Ark., and later to Celebration, Fla.

Dennis enjoyed many hobbies, including woodworking, golfing, home brewing, winemaking and gardening. The project he was most proud of was the completion of a Chris-Craft-style boat that he fittingly named Therapy.

Dennis did not want a funeral — he wanted a party! Dennis was celebrated by those closest to him on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Thriving in Place through the Celebration Foundation in Celebration, Fla.
