Slinger Nationals race is Tuesday

The 47th annual Slinger Nationals at the Slinger Super Speedway is Tuesday, July 14.

The event regularly draws NASCAR racing stars, who compete alongside local talent in super late model cars.

Ty Majeski is the fourt-time defending champion.

Spectator gates open at 11:30 a.m. Practices run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Qualifying is at 4 p.m. The opening ceremonies are at 5:45 p.m. with racing slated to start at 6:15 p.m.

The Prelude to Nationals race is Sunday night, July 12.

Practice for Nationals is Monday, July 13, as well as a new competition, the Monday Night Bracket Challenge 101. The 32-fastest teams are seeded in a head-to-head bracket and compete in three-lap sets.
