Power line fundraiser, forum set for June 26

Responsible Energy Alliance, a coalition of Saukville, Trenton, Fredonia and Farmington residents fighting the expansion of electrical lines through the Town of Fredonia and Town of Saukville for the Vantage Data Centers Lighthouse Campus, will host a community forum and fundraiser on Friday, June 26.

The event, held from 6 to 8:30 p.m., will be at the Waubeka Fire Hall, W4114 River Rd.

Erik Olsen, the group’s attorney, will be the emcee. A panel discussion by a team of expert witnesses will talk about the proposed transmission line project and what is at stake for area homes, farms, businesses, natural resources and communities.

There will be a question-and-answer period.

Candidates running for office in the November election have been invited to the event.

A cash bar will be available.
