Belgium Chamber announces new leaders

The Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce has announced its new leadership team.

Chanel Schmidt is the president and former executive director Tara Williams is the vice president. Peggy Wester is the secretary and Julia Majeski is the treasurer.

Board members include Don Bystricky, Matt Dirkse and Elizabeth Freeman.

Melissa Alexander remains the executive director.

“Together, we can build a thriving business environment that benefits everyone. I invite you to join us in our mission —whether through membership, participation in events or sharing your ideas. Your involvement is what makes our chamber strong and our community successful,” Schmidt said.

The Chamber’s mission is to promote economic development, support entrepreneurs and enhance the quality of life in the Belgium area.
