Kimberley Tien-Lynn Saffran

Kimberley Tien-Lynn Saffran of Port Washington passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025, at the age of 50.

She was born in Brookfield, Wis., on April 2, 1975, the beloved daughter of Roger and Patricia (Albrecht) Chu.

Kimberley married John Saffran on April 19, 1997, and together they raised two beautiful sons.

After college, Kimberley began her career at AM 620, WTMJ radio as an assistant before taking a position as their TV sales coordinator. She did that for almost 20 years before taking a similar sales position with WITI. She was with WITI until her passing.

In her downtime, Kimberley loved to relax by watching a Hallmark movie or diving into a good book. She was an enthusiastic collector of gnomes and had them in all sizes for every season and occasion. Kimberley had a love for flowers of all types and had a special peony bush from her grandfather that still blooms every summer.

Kimberley was a faithful and active member of Friedens Church in Port Washington and treasured the friendships she made there.

Above all, Kimberley cherished every moment she had with her family.

Her memory will be held dear by those who knew her best. She is survived by her husband John; her sons Jackson and Henry; parents Roger and Pattie Chu; aunts and uncles Richard (Pat) Chu and Bob (Kathy) Leong; and cousins Nati (Fred), Rory, John (Elena), Ryan and Chris (Shannon).

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at Friedens Church, 454 N. Milwaukee St., Port Washington, WI 53074. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church in a time of visitation from 9 to 11 a.m.
