Connie Miller

Ms. Connie Miller passed away Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025, at her residence in Port Washington. She was 82 years old.

Connie was born in San Antonio, Texas, on April 27, 1943, the daughter of Arnold and Elaine (Langlais) Miller.

The family moved to Wisconsin when Connie was young and settled in Saukville. Connie attended Immaculate Conception School before graduating from Port Washington High School with the Class of 1961. She remained in Saukville and raised her daughter Nicole there.

Ms. Miller worked in the accounts payable department at Badger Meter for 39 years before she retired.

She was a faithful member of St. John XXIII Catholic Parish, attending Immaculate Conception Church while she lived in Saukville and St. Mary’s Church once she moved to Port Washington.

Connie lived at Maple Crest Apartments, where she met the neighbors who became her best friends and family. Although she lived by herself, they provided her with love and company so she was never alone. Connie loved spending time with them  playing games, solving puzzles, watching Packer games and sharing holidays together.

She also enjoyed trips to the casino and the Fireside Theatre, as well as playing sheepshead at The Patio with friends.

Connie is survived by her daughter Nicole “Nikki” (Mike) Scharf of Wauwatosa, her grandchildren Ryen (Jon) Drosdick and Logan, Jordan and Colton Scharf, nephew Nathan Didier, other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Rene’ Didier.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Davita Dialysis and the many wonderful volunteers at Interfaith Caregivers, along with Connie’s many friends at Maple Crest, for all their care and compassion over the years.

As per Connie’s wishes, cremation will take place and private family services will be held. Connie will be laid to rest beside her parents at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Saukville.

Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
