Retired admiral to talk to Military Historians

Rear Admiral Patrick Lorge, a 1981 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, will discuss his 34-year career during the Monday, Sept. 15, meeting of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Military Historians.

The 6:30 p.m. program will be at the Rose-Harms American Legion Hall in Grafton.

Lorge, who lives in Virginia but is in the area for a family reunion, will present a slideshow featuring his deployments at home and abroad as a Fighter Weapons School top gun aviator. He had 3,980 flight hours, 493 daylight and 204 night carrier landings with numerous aircraft, and was deployed to the Pacific, Mediterranean, Kosovo, the Gulf War and the Middle East.

The $25 admission fee includes a buffet dinner and the presentation.  A limited number of $10 seats are available for the speaker’s program only.

Doors to the hall at 1540 13th Ave. open at 5:30 p.m. The meal will be at 6:30 p.m. followed by the presentation at 7 p.m.
