And the Fish Days parade winners are ...

While the Fish Days parade looks like a lot of fun, the organizations that take part in the event are serious about their floats — after all, there’s a competition to be won as well. The parade committee (top photo, from left) of Ben Mayer, Cole Baake, Erin Clancy, Dana Maechtle and Kevin Kletzien awarded the first place check for $1,000 to the Sheboygan Jaycees float created by Alyssa Resnick, Denisa Boye, Dan Panzer Jr., Emily and Ariana Lamb, Ashlee Lederer, Vanessa Tollefson, Dave Hermann, Anthony Leicht, Jodie Zajkowski, Dustin Yokiel, Dave Gentry and Jordan Szydel. Second place and $500 went to the Red Hat Lighthouse Ladies float represented by (lower left photo, front from left) Chad Call, Karen Uselding, Donna Call, (back row) Joy Hoard, Karen Stockero, Jan Scharnweber, Bonnie Knaub, Rosie Weyker, Kathy McGuire and Sharon Swatek. Harbor City Plumbing (lower right photo, from left), represented by Laura Schwanz, Jordy Schwanz and Brianna Schuster, took third place and $250.     Photos by Sam Arendt
