Grafton remembers on Memorial Day

Walking under a large American flag flying from the ladder of a fire truck (above right), a color guard led a procession from the Rose-Harms American Legion Hall to Grafton’s Veterans Memorial Park for a Memorial Day program at the park gazebo on Monday, May 26 (left). The Legion Auxiliary’s Poppy Princesses Peyton Arvai, 6, (left in lower photo) and Cassandra Fischer, 4, laid a wreath during the ceremony. At the war memorial in the park, Braeden Lien read the names of Grafton residents killed in wars. After the program, the Legion hosted lunch.  Photos by Sam Arendt
