Leaving their mark on their future school

Elementary school students who will be members of the first fifth-grade class to attend John Long Middle School in Grafton next school year had the chance last week to sign a piece of air-handling equipment that will be installed in a middle school addition being built to accommodate the additional grade. Adding their names to the unit, which was brought to Woodview Elementary School by John Long Principal Chris Weiss (left in photo above) and project manager Tyler Helker of CG Schmidt, were (from left) Zoey Mitchell, Owen Ward and Nick Kozich. Ben Curkov (right) also added his name. Fifth grade is being moved from the elementary schools to the middle school to accommodate increasing enrollment in the district.       Photos by Sam Arendt
