Port Legion, Auxiliary celebrate children
A special event for children will be held by the Van Ells-Schanen American Legion Post and Auxiliary from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 27.
The groups will host arts and crafts activities, games organized by Ozaukee 4-H, free magazines, stickers and flags, treats and a flag-folding demonstration.
The Port Washington police and fire departments will have their vehicles on display for children to explore, as will the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office.
The event commemorates Children and Youth Month.
