A special day at school for grandparents

While parents are involved in the education of their children on a daily basis, grandparents don’t always get opportunities to visit schools, so St. John XXIII Catholic School in Port Washington invited them to stop in for breakfast, bingo and a book fair following a Mass at St. Peter of Alcantara Church last week. Spending time with their grandson Reid Williams were Jane and Ken Yoho (top photo). Mark Bichler and his granddaughter Pearl Spankowski were all smiles (right).
