Legion gives to Fisher House

The Melvin Wester American Legion Post 412 in Belgium gave $1,000 to the Fisher House this fall using proceeds from the annual Packer Tailgate Party. Fisher House Vice President Chuck Steinmetz (above left) accepted a check from Legion Post Commander Tom Trinh. The Fisher House provides temporary housing for families whose relatives are receiving care at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Milwaukee. Ninety-three Fisher Houses are located across the country that have served more than 430,000 families and provided 11.5 million days of lodging.
