Young artists put on quite the show

It’s nice to have your artwork displayed at your school, but it’s something special to have it exhibited for all to see at the Niederkorn Library in Port Washington, which is where a reception was held recently for the young artists from Lincoln Elementary School whose work was chosen for the show. Clockwise from top, fourth-grader Mia Martin pointed to her flower painting. Trinity Brogli Mueller, also a fourth-grader, talked about her clay house with art teacher Tyler Nygaard, who organized the show. Julian Bean held the dinosaur he made while kindergartner Emma Streim got a boost from her mom Andrea so she could point to her work of art. Photos by Sam Arendt
