Windjammers to hold reunion on July 22 in Port

    A reunion of former members of the Windjammers Drum & Bugle Corp, their parents and friends will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at Memories Ballroom in the Town of Port Washington.
    This summer is the 46th anniversary of the Windjammers earning the title of Class B champions in both the 1972 Wisconsin Veterans of Foreign Wars  and American Legion competitions.
    The Windjammers went on to win the V.F.W. and American Legion Championship in 1973 and 1974.  
    The group was the only corps in the history of these contests to hold both titles at the same time for three consecutive years.
