Voter registration event set for July 23 in Port
A voter registration event will be held by the League of Women Voters of Ozaukee County at the Niederkorn Library in Port Washington Monday, July 23.
From 3:30 to 7 p.m., members of the League will be on hand to help area residents register and answer voting-related questions.
Residents can also check their voter registration status, particularly if they haven’t voted in the past four years, and if they have changed their name or address.
Online voter registration can be done if residents have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license or identification, and paper applications will also be available.
To register, residents must be a U.S. citizens ages 18 years by the date of the election at which they plan to vote. They must not currently be serving a sentence for a felony conviction.
