Volunteers needed to remove invasive species

    The Friends of the Cedarburg Bog is seeking volunteers to help remove invasive species from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 5.
    Volunteers should meet at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Field Station, 3095 Blue Goose Rd., Saukville.
    Volunteers will work outdoors along the boardwalk in the Cedarburg Bog cutting glossy buckthorn and treating the stumps with herbicide.  
    The Friends will supply tools for the work session.
    Those attending should wear waterproof boots to work in a couple inches of water.
