Virginia “Ginny” Hokenson

PAID OBITUARY

A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church for longtime resident of Grafton Virginia “Ginny” Hokenson on Monday, March 19, 2018.

Ginny was born to eternal life on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the age of 97 years.

Visitation was held at the church.

Ginny was buried at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Grafton next to her husband Theodore.

Memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church are appreciated.

Ginny was born in Grafton on Aug. 17, 1920, the daughter of the late Theodore and Theresa (nee Oberst) Bienlein.

She was a volunteer at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Campus in Mequon and also at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg.

Ginny was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Grafton. She made thousands of rosaries for missions.

Ginny is survived by nieces and nephews Eileen Bienlein Boutelle, Ken Bienlein, David Bienlein, Mary Bienlein Herian, Terry Steinert, Willie Steinert, Tom Thill and Mary Thill Augustin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Theodore, brother Ted Bienlein and two sisters, Dorothy Bienlein Steinert and Eleanore Bienlein Thill.
