The Village of Grafton has been gifted a small piece of parkland adjoining Paramount Plaza.

The 337-square-foot parcel was donated to the village by the owners of Grafton Hotel Apartments, Kit Keller and Paul Rushing.

The parcel, located just north of the historic apartment building at 1312 Wisconsin Ave., will be incorporated into Paramount Plaza.

Community Development Director Jessica Wolff said the village does not plan to make changes to the parcel and it will simply be used as public park space.

The Village Board is expected to accept the donation during a Dec. 6 meeting, following recommendations from the Plan Commission and Parks and Recreation Board.
