Village of Belgium to hold Memorial Day activities
Memorial Day ceremonies in Belgium will again include a church service, parade and ceremony.
The Melvin Wester Belgium Memorial Post 412 will hold a memorial service at 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 25, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 200 Park St., Belgium.
The parade will start from East Lane and Main Street at 10:30 a.m., led by the Post 412 Color Guard, and end at the Village Community Park.
A ceremony will be held in the park with U.S. Navy Post member Thomas E. Winker as guest speaker.
Food and beverages will be available after the ceremony at the park concession stand.
