Underwear exchange draws a crowd to downtown Port

A chance to trade in old underwear for new pair of Duluth Trading Co. Buck Naked underwear drew a crowd to the retailer’s downtown Port Washington store on Saturday, April 6, where a line of people waiting to take advantage of what the company billed as an “underwear trade-up” stretched north on Franklin Street for as far as the eye could see. In what obviously was a successful promotion, the company offered the deal to the first 300 customers on Saturday and advertised that “undressing rooms” would be available for those who decide “on-the-spot they’re in need of an underwear refresh.” Old underwear, the company said, would be disposed of in “biobags.”  Photo by Sam Arendt
