Tree climbing events set for May 2 and 30

Riveredge Nature Center in the Town of Saukville will host two tree-climbing events, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, May 2 and 30.

Those attending will learn how to ascend to the treetops under the guidance of trained facilitators.

All safety gear and training is provided, and those attending do not need to be experienced climbers. 

The event is intended for people ages 7 and older, and youths must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration includes 20 minutes of climb time, a scavenger hunt along the trails, naturalist-led, hands-on nature investigation and access to picnic areas for lunch.

The fee is $25 per climber. If a child with a registered climber wants to attend, the fee for the youth is $7.
