Town, PW-S school board seats on April ballot
The three members of the Port Washington Town Board said Monday they will seek re-election in April.
The officials — supervisors Gary Schlenvogt and Greg Welton and Chairman Mike Didier — like those from throughout the state and county, can begin circulating nomination papers for the April 6 election beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 1.
Incumbents who don’t seek re-election must file non-candidacy papers with the clerk by 5 p.m. Dec. 25.
Nomination papers are due at the municipal clerk’s office at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5.
If more than two people seek any one seat, a primary election will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
Also on the spring ballot will be three seats on the Port Washington-Saukville School Board.
They include board members Brenda Fritsch, the school board president, and Aaron Paulin, who both represent the City of Port Washington on the board, and Douglas Mueller, who represents the Village of Saukville.
The school board seats are for three-year terms, while the town board seats are for two-year terms.
