Town has new snow removal company
The Belgium Town Board last fall agreed to hire a Random Lake firm to handle snow removal at Town Hall, a building it shares with Belgium Family Dental.
Top Chop LLC was hired. It charges $275 per visit, which includes two different kinds of salt, one for the parking lot and one for the walkways, per dentist Vali Kiaie’s requirement.
The company brings two trucks and does the job in half an hour, Supr. Tom Bichler said.
Bichler sought bids from six firms and got three. The other two were Wilcox Yard Services of Belgium and Nate’s Landscape Co. of Belgium. Top Chop had the cheapest bid.
