Town of Grafton man killed in unexplained Hwy. I rollover
A 39-year-old Town of Grafton man was killed late Monday night when the car he was driving in rolled over multiple times and threw him from the vehicle.
According to an Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office report, Aaron Monson was traveling north on Highway I near Beechmoore Court in the Town of Cedarburg just after 11 p.m. in a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer.
For an unknown reason, the Blazer entered the east shoulder of Highway I, before re-entering the roadway. It then rolled over several times and Monson was thrown from the vehicle. He was the lone occupant.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Portions of Highway I were shut down during the investigation. It reopened at about 3:45 a.m.
Responding were police departments from Cedarburg, Grafton, Port Washington and Saukville, Cedarburg Rescue and Cedarburg Emergency Management.
