Tickets on sale for OED awards event

Ozaukee Economic Development will present its 2026 Business of the Year awards during a Thursday, Sept. 24, program.

The event, which will be at the Ozaukee Pavilion at the Ozaukee County fairgrounds in Cedarburg, includes an economic forecast by Paul Westphal and Bill Morse, moderated by OED board member Jim Winistorfer.

The businesses of the year are Levy & Levy S.C., in Cedarburg, the Kettle Moraine YMCA’s Feith Family Ozaukee YMCA in Saukville and Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon.

Levy & Levy, the small business of the year, was founded by brothers Don and Lowell Levy and provides legal services ranging from family to real estate to business law.

The firm has also supported projects such as the expansion of St. Mary’s Hospital in Mequon and the development of the Cedarburg Performing Arts Center, as well as organizations that include the Cedarburg Chamber of Commerce,Cedarburg-Grafton Rotary and Ozaukee Family Services.

The Feith Family YMCA, the medium-sized business of the year, has grown to more than 7,000 members since joining the Kettle Moraine YMCA in 2014.

Concordia University, the large business of the year, has been an economical and educational cornerstone of Ozaukee County since locating in Mequon in 1982.

Tickets are $30, with a table for eight costing $225.
