Thomas A. Foster

Thomas A. Foster of Fond du Lac, formerly of Fredonia, passed away peacefully at Edenbrook Nursing Home on Friday, May 1, 2026, at the age of 90.

He was born in Random Lake to Melvin and Helen (Schueller) Foster on Dec. 22, 1935.

Tom was united in marriage to Dorothy Casper on Nov. 7, 1978, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Fredonia.

Tom retired from Mercury Marine after 40 years of dedicated service and was the former treasurer of the Fredonia Lions Club.

Tom’s memory will be cherished by his sister Diane (Dave) Peiffer, stepson Steve Casper, nieces and nephews Kim (Nick) Gantner, Sherry (Chris) Krueger, Scott (Danielle) Peiffer and Stacy (Troy) Schiesl.  He is further survived by his caregivers Janet and David Kaiser

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy, sister Shirley (Virgil) Gantner and stepdaughter Sharon Casper.

Tom will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Fredonia.

Eernisse Funeral Home of Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
