Ted Sellin

Mr. Ted Sellin of Saukville passed away Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022, at Kathy Hospice in West Bend. He was 74 years old.

Ted was born on Jan. 4, 1948, in Milwaukee to Gilbert and Margaret Baehman Sellin.

He attended local schools and graduated from Nicolet High School with the Class of 1966 before proudly serving in the U.S. Army Reserves.

On Sept. 25, 1971, Ted married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Fratrick, in Milwaukee. The couple were blessed with two sons. They moved to Saukville in 1978 and raised their family.   

Mr. Sellin worked at Hayes Brake in Mequon, retiring in 2013 after almost 45 years on the job.

Barbara preceded Ted in death earlier this year.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons Jared (Molly) Sellin and Derek (Shannon) Sellin; five grandchildren, Noah, Luke, Colton, Mason and Moxi; sister Kathleen Klocko; other family members and friends.

Ted was preceded in death by his wife Barbara and brother Bill Sellin.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington.  Chaplain Jessi Smedal will preside. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 2:30 p.m. until services begin at 3 p.m.

Memorials, if desired, are suggested to Kathy Hospice or Horizon Hospice in lieu of flowers.

Ted’s family wishes to thank the staff at Kathy Hospice and Horizon Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.
