Susan Dandoy

Susan M. Dandoy, 67, of Grafton and formerly of Glendale, died of complications of pneumonia at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton Saturday, Sept. 29.
Ms. Dandoy was born in Milwaukee on July 27, 1951, to William and Kaye Kenehan Wagner. She grew up in Glendale, where her parents owned Wagner’s Garden Mart.
In 1969, she graduated from Dominican High School in Whitefish Bay.
Ms. Dandoy worked in the grocery department at Quik-Pleez and Sentry in Glendale, and later was the pricing manager at Sendik’s in Grafton.
Her family said she had a zest for life and pushed her own limits for adventure. She loved to explore Sedona, Ariz., on horseback, but her favorite place to visit was her mother’s home on Birch Lake in Winchester.
Ms. Dandoy’s greatest joys in life were spending moments with her sons, granddaughters and “adopted son” Robert Simpson.
Ms. Dandoy is survived by her sons William (Jackie) of Lake Mills and Brian (Tami) of Cedarburg; granddaughters Julia, Lauren and Elyn; ex-husband James Dandoy of Glendale; brothers Richard (Cathy) Wagner of Port Washington and John (Jeanine) Wagner of Seattle; sister Patricia (Tom) Pagac of Hartford; and step-sister Merry Bolton of Sedona, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Sunday until the service.
