Support staff, teacher aides get 2.5% wage increases
The Grafton School Board has approved salary increases for support staff and teacher aides for the 2019-20 school year.
During Monday’s board meeting, Business Director Topher Adams said teacher aides will receive a 2.5% wage increase. The raise will increase expenditures by $19,696.
Last year, teacher aides received a 2% salary increase, and other adjustments were made for specific members based on how many years they have worked in the district.
Support staff also received a 2.5% increase, which is estimated to cost $31,620 in expenditures.
The board unanimously approved the wage increases.
