Summer Thunder to benefit fire department
The 11th annual Summer Thunder Annual Poker Run will finish in Saukville again this Saturday, Aug. 17.
Registration is $15 per person and occurs from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Suburban Motors in Thiensville.
This year’s 125-mile route begins, as usual, at Suburban Motors and finishes at about 5:30 p.m. at Veterans Park in downtown Saukville.
This year stops are at Fillmore House in the Town of Farmington, Lakehouse in Kiel, Hyka Bay Tavern in Haven, Mirror Bar in Dacada and Between the Greens in the Town of Saukville.
After the ride there will be a block party open to the public with free live music performed by Boomer Nation. All proceeds go to the Saukville Fire Department.
