Summer school is in question

The Cedar Grove-Belgium School District won’t offer summer school in June or July, with an August session hanging in the balance due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“This decision was based with the best interest of students and families in mind,” according to a statement on the district website.

The School Board in July will decide on whether to hold summer school in August.

“Potential summer school offerings will be considered after a thorough understanding and assessment is done of the pandemic situation in the State of Wisconsin,” the statement said.
